Illuminated

Sunshine and writing both have a way of clarifying what feels most real at any given moment. Both prove I can simultaneously bask in a golden stream of light and find my way through the darkness.

Each time I sit down to write, be it in my journal on my morning rocks or at my desk and on my computer, I meet myself all over again. I reach in, dig around, and see what wants to show itself. All of my words may not make the final edit, but the intention to discover and surrender is always true. Each sitting asks me to consider what I know to be true and what I am willing to expose. Every word is a new way home.
